Ravens host top remaining free-agent CB

The Ravens have been very quiet during free agency with the future of QB Lamar Jackson looming. However, the top remaining free-agent cornerback is visiting the team Friday.

Baltimore is reportedly hosting CB Rock Ya-Sin, who ranks as Pro Football Focus' top cornerback and No. 7 overall player on its best remaining free agents list.

The 26-year-old is already looking for his third home in the NFL heading into his fifth season. Ya-Sin has 183 tackles, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two interceptions and 27 passes defensed in his career with the Raiders and Colts.

Ya-Sin could be the likely replacement for CB Marcus Peters, who is also a free agent and comes in at No. 9 on PFF's list.

Peters leaves a lot of production to be replicated with 138 tackles, two sacks, six forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, eight interceptions and 25 passes defensed in his three seasons as a Raven.

Baltimore does have one of the better secondaries in the league with the likes of CB Marlon Humphrey and safeties Marcus Williams and Kyle Hamilton, which would give Ya-Sin the ability to play more freely.

If the Ravens think he is a good fit, Ya-Sin could finally get his chance to cement his role with a team in 2023.
