Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Neville Gallimore is leaving the Lonestar State for the Sunshine State. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Gallimore is expected to sign with the Miami Dolphins.

The fourth-year defender is coming off of his rookie contract, which he signed in 2020 for four years, $4.68 million.

This season for Dallas, Gallimore played all 17 regular season games, working in the defensive tackle rotation. He posted 16 tackles with one sack and 3.5 tackles for loss. The 2022 season was his most productive so far in terms of tackles. He had 33 tackles, 16 solo and one sack.

After starting all 27 games over his final two collegiate seasons at Oklahoma, Gallimore worked into the rotation for Dallas in his rookie season. He then started nine of the 14 games he played. He posted 26 tackles, half a sack, and four tackles for losses as a rookie.

The 27-year-old tackle has had a relatively healthy first four years in the league, aside from a shoulder injury that held him back in year two. Due to the shoulder injury, he made just four starts in five games in 2021. He still managed 10 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and two tackles for loss.

The Cowboys snagged Gallimore with the No. 82 overall pick in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. With the Sooners, he earned second-team All-Big 12 honors.
