Russell Wilson and Ciara bought the most expensive home in Denver-area history

The Denver Broncos made one of the biggest splashes of the NFL offseason when they acquired superstar quarterback Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks in a blockbuster trade back in March, giving him a new home on the football field.

It did not take him long to find a new home off the field, either.

In April, Wilson and his wife, Ciara, bought a massive $25 million mansion that turned out to be the most expensive single family home ever sold in the Denver area, via Front Office Sports.

The 20,000-square-foot house includes a basketball court, a nine-car garage, 12 bathrooms, four bedrooms, an indoor pool and a home theatre.

Wilson has already made a fortune in the NFL as one of the league's best quarterbacks, and he added to that fortune this week when he signed a five-year contract extension worth $245 million, including $165 million in guaranteed money.
