Russell Wilson has entered a brand-new chapter—and it’s not just on the field.

The longtime NFL quarterback is preparing to lead the New York Giants into the 2025 season, marking yet another big-market move in his storied career. But beyond the playbook, Wilson and wife Ciara are also adjusting to life in one of the busiest, most high-profile cities in the world.

From dinner table family moments to courtside showings at Madison Square Garden, the Wilsons have been quietly but clearly integrating into the city’s culture. They’ve already been spotted at multiple Knicks games, and even attended the Yankees-Mets Subway Series matchup. The Wilson family isn't skipping a beat with new life in The Big Apple.

The Giants quarterback has been soaking in the NYC energy

Only after spending weeks in the city has Wilson now offered his take on how the transition is truly going—and his response says a lot.

“It’s been a lot of fun just feeling like we’re part of New York now,” he told the New York Post in an interview . He praised the Knicks’ game-day atmosphere, the athletes he’s met, and the excitement around this next phase. “Being around the other teams, and these great athletes, like my friend Aaron Judge… it’s been really special.”

Wilson is on a one-year deal with the Giants worth up to $21 million, including $10.5M guaranteed. As the pressure builds to deliver, he’s making it clear he’s all in—on the city, on the team, and most of all, on his family’s next chapter.
