It’s no secret that football players can be a bit weird sometimes. Ryan Fitzpatrick and Evan Smith took that weirdness to another level before Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, rubbing beards for good luck.

So weirdly…awesome. A glorious display of man love we won’t soon forget.

Maybe they did this before last week’s game as a gag and decided they had to keep the good luck flowing. As you might remember, Fitzpatrick led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a stunning Week 1 victory over the New Orleans Saints, putting up career-best numbers in the process, much to the delight of his sons.
