The New Orleans Saints dealt with more changes to their offensive coaching staff on Wednesday. Along with the departure of quarterbacks coach Ronald Curry, add assistant offensive line coach Kevin Carberry to the list.
According to multiple reports, Carberry is joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to be their OL coach.
Carberry joined the Saints staff in 2023. He spent the 2022 season with the Los Angeles Rams alongside new Bucs offensive coordinator Liam Coen. They bring experience together to Tampa Bay.
The veteran assistant has spent time in the NFL and college football for the last decade. He's an experienced, respected football mind. The Saints offensive line showed inconsistency in 2023, but that blame certainly does not only fall on Carberry.
Now, New Orleans will need to find an assistant OL coach if new OC Klint Kubiak chooses to have one on staff.
