Seahawks' Alex McGough under investigation for allegedly hitting man at bar

The latest news about a Seattle Seahawks quarterback surprisingly doesn't involve Russell Wilson.

According to TMZ Sports, Wilson's backup, Alex McGough, allegedly punched a man in the face at a bar in Tampa, Florida. The altercation occurred when McGough alleged the man flirted with his girlfriend.

In a video obtained by TMZ Sports, you can see the victim with red marks on his face, surrounded by blood-stained towels he used to clean himself up after the incident.

The reported victim suffered minor injuries and went to the police the following day to file a report with the intention of pressing charges. So far, McGough has not been charged or arrested, and the incident is under investigation.

The Seahawks selected McGough in the seventh round of the 2018 draft. The Tampa native has not appeared in a game for Seattle. He played college football at Florida International University.
