Seahawks have reportedly had discussions with Falcons about trade for Julio Jones
Add the Seattle Seahawks to the list of teams interested in trading for Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones.
According to ESPN's Dianna Russini, Seattle has had discussions about a possible trade with Atlanta. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and Jones have even spoken to discuss the possibility of playing together, Russini adds.
If traded to Seattle, Jones would join a receiving group that includes D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
The 32-year-old reportedly requested a trade from the Falcons earlier this offseason and essentially confirmed his departure during a phone call with FS1's Shannon Sharpe, saying, "I'm out of there."
Atlanta is reportedly seeking a first-round pick for Jones, who could be moved as early as this week, Russini reported Thursday.
The Los Angeles Rams, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens have also reportedly shown interest in trading for Jones. However, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, people in league circles say the San Francisco 49ers are discussed most often as a trade fit for the seven-time Pro Bowler.
