On Wednesday afternoon, Oklahoma's 2025 football schedule was revealed.

On Wednesday, reports began to circulate claiming that the SEC will stick with an eight-game conference schedule in 2025, similar to the conference's 2024 model.

Just after 2 p.m., the SEC announced that the Sooners will meet Auburn, Mississippi, Missouri and LSU at home while traveling to Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina. As usual, OU will meet Texas at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.

This is inverse of Oklahoma's 2024 SEC schedule, where the Sooners will face Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina at home while meeting Auburn, Mississippi, Missouri and LSU on the road.

Additionally, OU will square off against Illinois State, Michigan and Kent State in Norman while traveling to Philadelphia to play Temple for its 2025 non-conference slate.

Coming off of a national championship victory, Michigan should be a formidable opponent, even with its former head coach Jim Harbaugh, now coaching the Los Angeles Chargers.
