The Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals were locked in a one-score battle at Acrisure Stadium when Mother Nature decided to put it on pause.

Just before halftime, rain began to fall and the threat of lightning arrived in the Steel City. As the Cardinals headed to the locker room with a 10-3 lead over the Steelers, it was announced that the game would be delayed until at least 3:00 p.m. due to weather. Fans were instructed to take shelter in the concourse.

Arizona scored the first touchdown of the game on a five-yard pass from Kyler Murray to Trey McBride, which capped a 99-yard, 4:31-long drive that left the Steelers with just 20 seconds to play before intermission.

The Steelers had just been stuffed on a fourth-and-one from the Cardinals one-yard line before giving up that pivotal score and lost starting quarterback Kenny Pickett to injury earlier in the drive.

The Cardinals will open the second half - whenever that may be - with the ball while holding a one-touchdown lead.
