ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Allen Robinson II left his team’s Wild Card playoff game against the Buffalo Bills on Monday with an apparent injury.

Robinson was injured after making a catch in the third quarter. He was immediately tackled by Bills rookie linebacker Dorian Williams. Robinson was slow to get up and was immediately taken to the Pittsburgh locker room for evaluation.

The Steelers announced that Robinson was being evaluated for a concussion and is questionable to return to the game. He was the second Steelers player to be evaluated for a concussion in short order in the late third quarter, following cornerback Joey Porter Jr.

Before his injury, Robinson had two catches for 12 yards against the Bills.

The 10th-year NFL vet just finished his first regular season with the Steelers. He played and started in all 17 games this season. He finished the season fifth on the Steelers with 280 receiving yards, catching 34 of 49 targets. He did not score a touchdown.

With Robinson out, Calvin Austin III will be come the team’s primary slot receiver and Miles Boykin will become the fourth receiver. The Steelers only have five wide receivers on their active 53-man roster.

Austin scored a touchdown at the end of the drive that Robinson was injured on.
