The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly out on the Justin Fields race, staying away from conversations about trading for the Chicago Bears quarterback, according to The Athletic's Dianna Russini.

The Steelers have been linked as one of the favorites to land Fields throughout the offseason and as recently as this past week when ESPN's Adam Schefter said they are "in the conversation." But according to Russini, they aren't looking to land the former first-rounder.

"Additionally, Pittsburgh is not among the teams actively working to trade for Fields, league sources told The Athletic’s Dianna Russini," they wrote.

The report also claims the Steelers are out on Russell Wilson, Kirk Cousins and Baker Mayfield.

The market for Fields is reportedly dropping, making him a more desireable name for teams like the Steelers who aren't looking to buy big for another quarterback. But if they're out, it appears they're sticking with Kenny Pickett and, hopefully Mason Rudolph this season.

General manager Omar Khan said the team is in talks with Rudolph, and both sides have expressed interest in a return. That being said, it's expected he at least sees what his market in free agency is before signing with Pittsburgh.
