The Houston Texans' remarkable breakout season may be over, but the awards are still coming in for some of their top players.

Two such players, receiver Nico Collins and offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, just added a well-deserved honor to their resumés, as the Pro Football Writers of America named both to their All-AFC team.

A 2021 third-round, Collins broke out in a big way this season. The Michigan product caught 80 passes for 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns, shattering the marks set in his first two seasons combined.

Collins, 24, came up big on several occasions this season, with five games over 100 yards including three games over 150. He especially stepped up once rookie star Tank Dell went down late in the season, becoming the new top target for quarterback C.J. Stroud.

On the other hand, Tunsil only added to his stellar tenure in Houston, earning his fourth Pro Bowl nod in five seasons with the team. According to Pro Football Focus, Tunsil allowed just five sacks on 877 offensive snaps and finished the season with a 73.5 overall grade.

The Texans paid a hefty price to pry Tunsil, 29, away from the Miami Dolphins back in 2019, but he's been worth every penny thus far. Even with Houston's offensive line ravaged by injuries for most of the season, Tunsil managed to stay relatively health and play 14 games, and he consistently played well at that.

Houston's season may have ended with a blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional Round, but with an abundance of young talent and a great coach in DeMeco Ryans, the future looks exceptionally bright.
