The Texans have made another move to solidify their roster for the 2024 season.

Per reports from KPRC , the Texans have secured offensive lineman Dieter Eiselen with a two-year contract valued at $2.095 million, featuring a $10,000 signing bonus and non-guaranteed base salaries of $985,000 and $1.1 million.

Originally from South Africa, Eiselen, an undrafted free agent from Yale, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Chicago Bears. Standing at an imposing 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 320 pounds, Eiselen boasts an impressive collegiate career, earning accolades such as All-Ivy League and All-American selections.

Promoted from the practice squad to the active roster in November, he made his mark in 10 games last season, accumulating 24 career appearances overall.

Eiselen transitioned to the Texans' practice squad after his release from the Bears last August and earned a promotion to the active roster in November.

During the regular season, he contributed in 10 games for the Texans. Before joining the Texans, Eiselen had already made 14 appearances for the Bears over the previous three seasons.

In addition to Eiselen's signing, the Texans have also locked in cornerback D’Angelo Ross and pass rusher Marcus Haynes to new deals, further shaping their roster for the upcoming season.
