The Tennessee Titans placed running back Dontrell Hilliard and wide receiver C.J. Board on injured reserve Saturday.

Hilliard sustained a neck injury in last Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Hilliard, 27, rushed for 145 yards and caught 21 passes for 177 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games this season.

Board suffered a rib injury in a 35-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Dec. 4.

Board, 29, caught one pass for 6 yards in four games this season. He returned 14 punts for 147 yards and four kickoffs for 82 yards.

The Titans (7-6) also signed three players from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game against the host Los Angeles Chargers (7-6): running back Julius Chestnut, defensive back Davontae Harris and guard Jordan Roos.

Tennessee also activated defensive back Lonnie Johnson from injured reserve and elevated receiver Mason Kinsey and linebacker Andre Smith from the practice squad.
