Titans reportedly making 'consistent push' for Julio Jones but won't overpay

Although the Tennessee Titans are reportedly considered long shots to land Julio Jones, the club isn't giving up in their pursuit of the Atlanta Falcons All-Pro wide receiver.

According to ESPN's Jordan Schultz, the Titans are making a "consistent push" for Jones but won't overpay to get him.

The Falcons are reportedly seeking a first-round pick in exchange for the 32-year-old, who could be moved as early as this week.

If the Titans won't pay up, someone else will. The Seattle Seahawks have reportedly had discussions with the Falcons, and Russell Wilson and Jones have even spoken to discuss the possibility of playing together.

The Los Angeles Rams, New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens have also reportedly shown interest in the seven-time Pro Bowler. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, though, people in league circles say the San Francisco 49ers are discussed most often as a trade fit for Jones.

Jones reportedly requested a trade from the Falcons months ago and essentially confirmed he would not return to Atlanta during a phone call with FS1's Shannon Sharpe, saying, "I'm out of there."
