Titans WR Julio Jones to return from IR, play vs. Jaguars in Week 14

Julio Jones is set to return to the Tennessee Titans from injured reserve and is expected to play Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Jones, 32, missed three of the Titans' first nine games with lingering hamstring issues before he was shut down and placed on injured reserve in November. After missing three more games, Jones is now set to return as Tennessee aims to lock up the AFC South in December.

The long-time Atlanta Falcons receiver was traded to the Titans in June for draft picks, but struggled to find production earlier in the 2021 season. In six games, Jones caught 21 passes for 336 yards and hasn't yet caught a touchdown with the Titans.

In 10 seasons with the Falcons, Jones was one of the most productive receivers in NFL history with 60 receiving touchdowns and an average of 95.5 receiving yards per game. He earned seven trips to the Pro Bowl and is one of 20 players in NFL history -- and the only active player -- to eclipse 13,000 career receiving yards.

The Titans could use the help on offense after placing running back Derrick Henry and wide receiver A.J. Brown on injured reserve in November. Tennessee scored just 13 points in each of its last two games, losing to the Houston Texans in Week 11 and New England Patriots in Week 12.
