'TNF' best bets: Jump on this +2500 Same Game Parlay for Chiefs-Broncos

For tonight in football, it seems like the right time to go for a big shot. This Denver Broncos defense has been just horrible; they're currently on pace to allow the most points and yards in a season. Is that bad? It seems bad. It seems worse when you realize the Kansas City Chiefs are on the other end.

We don't blame you if you want to tune in to Phillies-Braves instead (our Phillies are closing this thing out tonight). We likely will ourselves, but a big lotto like this is bound to keep us invested.

Shooting for the stars with this Same Game Parlay

Leg 1: Isiah Pacheco 100+ yards

This Denver run defense is just horrid. They're allowing 5.9 yards per carry and 164.2 yards per game to running backs, both the highest in the league.

Naturally, we turn to Isiah Pacheco, the clear RB1 on this offense. Pacheco has taken 15+ carries in three straight games, and that volume should go a long way to hitting this alternate over. Pacheco went for 115 two weeks ago, so he's shown us he can get there. This is the right time to take a shot.

Leg 2: Pacheco TD

We may as well tack on his touchdown bet. Pacheco has scored in three straight games and the Broncos are allowing the most touchdowns per game to running backs.

Leg 3: Justin Watson over 22.5 receiving yards

Let the record show we would have preferred to bet Watson to 50+ receiving yards, but that isn't an option available to us at the time of writing.

The love for Watson is quite simple: he's Kansas City's deep threat going against a Denver defense allowing the fifth-most 20+ yard passes per game. Each week, explosive passing plays are happening against the Broncos, and Watson figures to be the benefactor tonight.

He's averaging 22 yards per catch, and over half of his targets are coming 20+ yards down the field. It makes his line quite the value play. In five games this year, Watson is averaging 43.8 yards per game, going for 50+ yards in three of his last four.

Leg 4: Watson TD

For all this deep-threat work, Watson has yet to find the end zone. Tonight feels like a great chance to change that. The Broncos are allowing the fifth-most touchdowns per game to wide receivers, and as mentioned, they get torched deep. How about a 40-yard TD for Watson here to cash both his legs on one play?

Altogether, this SGP comes in at +2500 on DraftKings. Opt-in to the sweat-free promo and get a bonus bet back if this loses!

In the news ...

Diamondbacks, Astros advance to Championship League Series —The Arizona Diamondbacks barely made the playoffs, and now here they sit in the NLCS fresh off a sweep of the top-seeded Los Angeles Dodgers. It's the first NLCS appearance for Arizona since 2007, and they're currently +450 to win the World Series. Meanwhile, Houston was able to dispatch Minnesota in four games, setting up an all-Texas ALCS against the Rangers. Houston beat Texas in nine of their 13 meetings this year and are the -140 favorites to advance back to the World Series.

Connor Bedard scores first NHL goal — A day after Connor Bedard and Chicago got their first win of the year, they were back on the ice in Boston. It was there that the 18-year-old phenom buried the first goal of his professional career. Through two games, Bedard has 11 shots to go along with a goal and an assist. His price to win the Calder Trophy (rookie of the year) really isn't that bad, still sitting at -150 this morning. It seems like an inevitability.

Las Vegas Aces move one win away from back-to-back WNBA titles — The Las Vegas Aces routed the New York Liberty on Wednesday night, winning 104-76 and moving one win away from their second straight championship. The Aces are looking to be the first WNBA team to win back-to-back titles since the Los Angeles Sparks in 2002, and it seems they're sure to get there. No WNBA team has ever come back from down 0-2 in a postseason series, currently 0-17.
