'TNF' Week 15: Two player props for Chargers vs. Raiders
We have a milestone coming up and an elevated role powering our two player props for this Thursday night game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders. We're of the belief that the lackluster QBs in play here are tempering the betting markets, which has opened up value for us.
Khalil Mack over 0.75 sacks (-135 DraftKings)
Khalil Mack is sitting at 99.5 sacks, looking to become the 43rd player in NFL history to cross the 100-sack threshold.
It would certainly be poetic if he hit that mark against the team where he started his career. It seems likely when you consider that the Chargers edge-rusher notched 6.0 sacks earlier this season against the Raiders. He now has 10.0 sacks in his past four games against Las Vegas, and all we need here is one.
With the Raiders down two starting offensive linemen, it should be another productive day at the office for Mack. The Chargers edge-rusher leads the NFL in sacks, and has recorded 2.0 sacks in three straight on the road.
Quentin Johnston over 15.5 longest reception (-110 DraftKings)
Johnston and Easton Stick connected on a 57-yard pass in Week 14, and with Keenan Allen now out, Johnston slots in as one of Stick's top options in the passing game.
Johnston has gone over this 15.5 long reception line in six of his past eight games, and when he last saw the Raiders he caught an 18-yard pass.
This is an extremely low line for a starting outside WR and worth jumping on. His yardage total at just 26.5 is also intriguing.
