Tom Brady could pursue career in physical health education after retirement

While some may joke that the day will never come, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady will eventually retire and stay away from an active roster for more than a handful of weeks. That day clearly is not today, however, as Brady is back at work and preparing to once again chase a historic eighth career Super Bowl ring.

Brady had said for years he wanted to continue playing through at least his 45th birthday, which he'll celebrate in August, and he's often credited his longevity to the "TB12 Method" that's become a standalone business project for the future Hall of Famer. Per Natasha Dye and Becky Randel of People, Brady recently explained he'd be interested in working in some type of role educating people about physical health when he does call time on his playing days.

"I think part of what I'm going to do with my second career is continue to educate people in different ways to take care of themselves so they can continue doing the things they like," Brady said.

During that conversation, Brady added that he's embraced being a mentor for younger Buccaneers teammates.

"I think I've gotten to the point in my career where people are listening to me in different ways," Brady remarked. "So, I try to just impart my wisdom and hopefully allow them to reach their potential."

One would imagine any player, let alone one just starting his career, could learn a thing or two from the G.O.A.T. and would do well to listen whenever Brady offers advice.
