Tom Brady declares niece, UCLA softball star Maya Brady, 'most dominant athlete' in family

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has never been shy about showing support for his niece, UCLA softball star Maya Brady.

Following UCLA’s 14-0 win over San Jose State on Sunday, the seven-time Super Bowl champion retweeted a highlight of Maya hitting a three-run home run with the message, “Maya Brady, the most dominant athlete in the Brady family...by far!”

Brady made similar comments about Maya in a 2019 interview with Tara Sullivan of the Boston Globe, saying she’s a “great athlete.”

Maya is the daughter of Brady’s sister, Maureen. In her first season with the Bruins, she slashed .356/.443/.699 with seven home runs and 28 RBI, earning Softball America Freshman Player of the Year honors.
