Tom Brady files new trademark application for 'TB x TB' to sell clothing?
It appears Tom Brady has absolutely moved on from selling his merchandise in New England. The six-time Super Bowl champion has filed a new trademark application for "TB x TB," and it likely indicates a Buccaneers-themed Brady clothing brand will be released soon, according to Josh Gerben, owner of a trademark law firm.
The filing was made on March 20 and indicates that Brady intends on using the trademark for a clothing brand, according to Gerben.
Gerben also references the hype video the Buccaneers released when Brady officially signed with the organization, noting that it used "TB x TB" in the video. He then asks an important question on whether or not there will be a dispute on who owns the trademark ... he doubts it, but it is a good question to ask.
The trademark application was filed on a section 1(b) basis, which means Brady has the intent of using the trademark to sell clothing.
Of course, if Brady does sell any Buccaneers-themed clothing, it'll probably come in red/organge, black and gray variations.
With the 42-year-old extremely excited about his new venture, it's no surprise he's ready to start selling new merchandise.
