Even Tom Brady does not seem convinced that Tom Brady is truly retired from playing in the NFL.

Brady and his two sons flew to England over the weekend to watch Manchester United play. On Sunday, Brady shared a video on Instagram that showed him chatting with Cristiano Ronaldo. If you listen closely, Ronaldo appeared to ask Brady if he is done playing when the soccer star said, “You’re finished, right?” It’s difficult to make out Brady’s exact response, but his facial expression was noteworthy.

Did that look like the fact of a man who just made one of the biggest decisions of his life and is completely comfortable with it? Probably not.

There has been a lot of speculation that Brady will change his mind and play next season. He has not sounded certain about his future when discussing it . Some think Brady wants to play for a team other than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022, but he could have just asked for a trade if that were the case. The Bucs would have accommodated him and could probably get a first-round pick for Brady.

Brady will turn 45 before the start of next season. We know he has some big non-football plans already lined up.
