Tom Brady jokes about seeing new movie four times on Friday

Tom Brady joked on Twitter Friday morning about some possible plans for how he'd be spending the third day of his second retirement.

"80 For Brady" is produced by the 45-year-old three-time MVP, as well as Donna Gigliotti, and was released in the U.S. on Friday. The sports comedy is based on a true story of four lifelong friends -- and "TB12"-loving seniors -- who make a trip to Super Bowl LI in 2017 to see the New England Patriots play the Atlanta Falcons.

The film stars Academy Award winners Sally Field, Jane Fonda and Rita Moreno, as well as Academy Award nominee Lily Tomlin, while Brady himself makes various cameos. The movie also includes cameos from former Patriots players Danny Amendola, Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski.

"80 For Brady" was first announced during the seven-time Super Bowl champion's 40-day retirement in February 2022. Filming began in March of last year and finished in June.

While the "GOAT" won't be playing in the upcoming Super Bowl LVII, fans who haven't got enough of Brady can flock to theaters and still see the future Hall of Famer on the big screen all month long.
