Tua Tagovailoa gets response from celebrity crush Shania Twain

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa probably wasn't expecting to get a response from his celebrity crush on social media, but he must have been ecstatic when he did.

Tagovailoa was answering a slew of questions online, not all of which were football related. The 22-year-old rookie tried his best to answer all of the questions, but when a fan asked him who his celebrity crush is, he answered Canadian singer-songwriter Shania Twain without hesitation.

The Alabama product even pleaded for Twain to message him, and... well, he got a pretty incredible response.

Tagovailoa certainly will remember this one for a lifetime and, who knows, maybe he'll be able to meet Twain at some point After all, he is expected to be the star of the show in Miami.

The fifth overall pick certainly has drawn in plenty of attention, and it's no surprise after the career he had at Alabama.

While he suffered several injuries last season, Tagovailoa now is said to be fully healthy for the 2020 campaign. Of course he'll be looking to continue his success in the pro ranks, but he will need to compete against veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick for the starting job in Miami.
