Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown apparently decided to stay in the New York area one day after his career with the defending champs came to a conclusion.

Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you know full well the antics Brown pulled during Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

Brown was seen stripping off his jersey and heading to the locker room in the middle of the game, a clear sign that the seven-time Pro Bowler had quit on his team.

Immediately after the game, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians announced that the enigmatic star reciever was no longer a part of the organization.

This doesn’t seem to have impacted Antonio Brown too much. In fact, the star receiver was seen courtside in Brooklyn for the Nets game against the Memphis Grizzlies at Barclays Center.

It’s not yet known who is to Brown’s right in the video. We just hope that the wide receiver isn’t searching for himself on social media, because, that wouldn’t be good.

At this point, it is safe to assume Brown’s NFL career is over. While his former teamamate in Tom Brady called for “compassion” in dealing with what’s happening right now, the league has to be over the drama Antonio Brown has brought to the table.

It was just earlier this season that he was suspended three games by the league for allegedly faking his COVID-19 vaccination card. That was just a continuation of drama that has plagued Mr. Brown dating back to his days with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Interestingly enough, Brown’s appearance in Brooklyn Monday night coincides with that could very well be his former teammate, Ben Roethlisberger’s, final home game as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Talk about optics.
