Watch: Broncos OL vents his frustration with direction of the team

Few can blame Denver Broncos offensive tackle Garett Bolles for his exasperated post-game comments following a 70-20 beatdown to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Bolles vented to 9 News Denver’s Scotty Gange in a video posted on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday in which he said he felt like “s---” following a record-setting loss to the Dolphins.

Warning: The video contains profanity.

The 31-year-old tackle, who was Denver’s first-round pick in 2017 (20th overall), hasn’t experienced a winning season in the NFL. In fact, Bolles has never even been part of a .500 team in the NFL (his best season was in 2019 when the Broncos went 7-9).

Denver has a 35-66 record since Bolles joined the team (counting this season), which includes five seasons with double-digit losses. The Broncos, who are 0-3, are well on their way to a sixth season of 10 losses or more in their first year under head coach Sean Payton.

Sunday’s loss to Miami is the worst in Broncos history. Miami’s 70 points was the most allowed by any team in the last 57 years, and the 726 yards of total offense is the second-most ever in an NFL game.

The Dolphins also became the first team in NFL history with five passing touchdowns and five rushing touchdowns in the same game.

Bolles wasn’t the only Broncos player who expelled some anger about the team’s record-setting loss — and to a greater extent — their 0-3 start under Payton.

"Embarrassed, pissed; we're not happy with it,” Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton added, via ESPN. “It was the most embarrassing game I've ever been a part of. It's the most embarrassing game I've ever watched."
