Watch: Browns rookie safety takes first career interception to the house vs. Jets

Cleveland Browns undrafted rookie cornerback Ronnie Hickman made his first interception count.

In the second quarter of the Browns' "Thursday Night Football" contest against the New York Jets, Hickman stepped in front of former Ohio State teammate Garrett Wilson, picking off a pass from QB Trevor Siemian before taking it to the house for a 30-yard touchdown.

Hickman's effort even earned him a congratulatory tap on the chest from Wilson after the fact.

After three years with the Buckeyes, Hickman didn't hear his name called in last April's draft, ultimately signing with the Browns in May.

Entering Week 17, Hickman had appeared in eight games (three starts), posting 18 tackles and two pass defenses while playing 46 percent of Cleveland's defensive snaps.
