Watch: Cardinals defense comes up huge with back-to-back pick-sixes in wild sequence

The desert heat is getting to the New Orleans Saints.

After jumping out to a 14-6 lead, the Saints imploded in epic fashion with two minutes left in the half.

First, quarterback Andy Dalton attempted a pass to wide receiver Marquez Callaway. The receiver bobbled the pass, and it was intercepted and returned for a touchdown by cornerback Marco Wilson.

Not to be outdone, on the very next drive, Dalton threw a pass right to linebacker Isaiah Simmons on a 3rd-and-10 throw. It, too, was returned for six points.

When the dust settled after the disastrous sequence, the Cardinals were up 28-14. The nightmare has the Saints staring at a 2-5 record and potentially many more ugly moments, likely in the very near future.
