Watch: David Moore takes Baker Mayfield pass for 52-yard TD

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield is cooking against the Green Bay Packers.

With 6:30 remaining in the fourth quarter, Mayfield threw a short pass to wide receiver David Moore, who scored a 52-yard TD, giving Tampa Bay a 34-20 lead. The former No. 1 overall pick has completed 22-of-28 passes for 381 yards and four TDs.

After future Hall of Famer Tom Brady retired in February, it appeared the Buccaneers (6-7) would regress and miss the playoffs. However, they're first in the NFC South and have a chance to make the postseason for a fourth consecutive season.

In 2022, the Cleveland Browns traded Mayfield to the Carolina Panthers, where he was released after seven games. He also had a brief stint with the Los Angeles Rams and went 1-3 as a starter.

Tampa Bay gave him a second chance, signing him to a one-year, $4M deal this offseason. Clearly, that was a smart move. Through 13 games, he has completed 62.6 percent of his passes for 2,934 yards and 20 TDs, tied for ninth in the NFL.
