Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr is further solidifying his position as the face of the franchise by starring in a sponsored commercial. Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

Derek Carr is known for slinging the football around, and he’s pretty darn good at his day job. But if he ever decides football is a thing of the past, he might have already found his future as a pop star based on a music video-style commercial the Oakland Raiders quarterback did for EECU.

Just kidding. While the commercial is hilarious, Carr most definitely should stick to his day job.

Though, we give him credit for going along with this idea, for wearing the awesome 80’s style denim jacket, complete with tassels, and for including his big bro, David Carr.

Carr and the Raiders are off to a smashing start to the 2017 NFL season with two early wins. They will be on the road to play against Washington in Week 3.
