Watch: Deshaun Watson helps terminally ill teen meet Browns players before suspension

On Tuesday afternoon, Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson officially began serving his 11-game suspension regarding allegations of sexual misconduct during massage sessions that was agreed upon by the NFL and NFL Players Association earlier this month.

Days beforehand, Watson made a dream of some local fans come true.

According to Peggy Gallek of Cleveland's Fox 8, an individual named Dan Tabak used social media to ask if he could get Watson to sign a jersey for 17-year-old brother-in-law Joe Simmons, a terminally ill senior at an area high school who has a genetic neuromuscular disease and is passionate about the Browns.

"Joe is my hero. He goes through so much every day, but always keeps pushing," Tabak explained. "So I wanted to do something for him."
