Watch: Eagles fumble on 'tush push'

The Philadelphia Eagles finally botched their seemingly unstoppable "tush push."

With 10:09 left in the third quarter, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts fumbled on the Washington 1-yard line, and Commanders cornerback Kyle Fuller recovered.

It's shocking to see the Eagles fail on their famed play because it's nearly unstoppable. Per USA Today, the Eagles previously converted on 41-of-44 (93.1 percent) push sneaks since 2022. Many want to ban the highly effective QB sneak, but Philadelphia head coach Nick Sirianni begged the league not to.

"I'm making my plug right here. Like don't ban this play," he said after a Week 7 victory, via CBS Sports. "If everybody could do it. Everybody would do it."

Even though the Eagles flubbed this attempt, that will not stop them from running it. Opposing defensive coordinators will still need to find a way to stop it and slow down a high-powered offense that's fourth in the NFL in points scored (26.6 points per game).
