For the first time in three weeks, Travis Kelce didn’t have Grammy-winning pop star Taylor Swift cheering him on in-person from a stadium suite.

Even without his reported love interest in attendance, Kelce still put on a show in Sunday’s 27-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

The All-Pro tight end caught 10 passes for 67 yards and the game-winning touchdown after returning from an ankle injury in the second quarter.

Kelce fell awkwardly to the ground with a non-contact-injury after catching a pass from Patrick Mahomes right before halftime. He underwent X-rays in the locker room, missed the first drive of the third quarter but returned for the next series.

“I know how tough he is, so if he was going in (to get X-rays) — he’s kind of like me, he was going to fight coach all the way in there,” Mahomes told Tracy Wolfson of CBS Sports after the win. “What a leader, man, getting back out there and getting a touchdown when we needed him.”

Kelce’s four-yard touchdown grab with 2:45 left in the third quarter put the Chiefs up 27-13 and ultimately served as the winning score after the Vikings added a fourth-quarter touchdown to pull within seven points.

It was the most receptions and second-most receiving yards he’s had since his reported romance with Swift began — a run that’s included 23 catches, 196 yards and two touchdowns.
