A new era of TCU women's basketball is upon us, and in the new-look program's first game, it made that abundantly clear.

In her first appearance with the Horned Frogs, Arizona transfer Madison Conner was brilliant, scoring 30 points on 9-19 shooting while also recording 11 rebounds and four assists. The 30-point outing set a program record for most points in a TCU debut.

Oregon transfer Sedona Prince followed in Conner's footsteps by recording a double-double of her own. The highly-touted big out of the transfer portal made her mark in Fort Worth quickly, grabbing ten rebounds to go along with her 15 points.

TCU dominated the Golden Eagles in every facet of the game. The Frogs out-rebounded and out-assisted Oral Roberts and shot 12% better from the field. In addition, they shot almost 40% from three compared to Oral Roberts' 16.7%.

In his coaching debut at TCU, Mark Campbell gave fans exactly what they wanted to see. A TCU program that has been asleep for far too long is awake now and looking to make noise in the skipper's first season. The balanced domination of the game helped Campbell to his 40th career head coaching victory.

"The team had been chomping at the bit to finally get out here and get to compete and play against someone else," Campbell said. "October, it's kind of the dog days of the season. Those first five minutes, had a little bit of jitters, and after that, they settled in and played some pretty good basketball. Just really proud of them. We played good ball on both sides of the court. I think we defended the ball and took care of the ball, and got good shots."

The Frogs return to action at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday as they welcome visiting Texas A&M - Kingsville to town.
