Fantasy Football has taken over the sports world, and we are just about to start everything up once again. It’s easily the most popular fantasy game out there and millions of people play each year.

With the new NFL season starting this weekend, people will be flocking to their favorite leagues to build their teams if they haven’t already done so. It gives players a sense of being a General Manager, something that many will never experience.

And every season, we see players emerge from the pack that nobody saw coming. It’s just part of what makes the game so much fun because you never know what to expect.

This year, one name has been listed as a potential sleeper, and they come from your Los Angeles Chargers. That would be running back Isaiah Spiller as he enters his second year in the NFL.

NFL analyst Matt Bowen of ESPN.com listed the young running back among players to consider this fantasy season.

“RB Isaiah Spiller. Spiller is competing with Kelley for the No. 2 role behind Ekeler. I'm betting on the upside of Spiller, given his second-level elusiveness and lower-body balance. He could emerge as the top insurance back for the Chargers.”

Per Matt Bowen of ESPN.com

While there is no guarantee for Spiller to even see the field often, he could be an interesting bench stash if you play in larger leagues. Injuries happen all the time, so making sure to have a backup plan is important.

Spiller put up 41 yards rushing on 18 attempts last season. But he was special in college, so maybe that version of him is still there. He just needs the playing time this season to show what he can do.

He may be battling for playing time, but it only takes one good game to get him more chances. He has the talent, and now he just needs to go and show out.
