The Chicago Blackhawks are tanking all across the board this year. Seth Jones stayed on brand Friday at the 2023 NHL Skills showcase when he finished last in the hardest shot competition.

Each skater got two attempts to blast the puck into the net from 30 feet out. Jones recorded shots of 93.2 and 94.7 MPH, which resulted in a fifth-place finish.

Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson won the hardest shot competition with a clapper that clocked in at 103.2 MPH.

Now that the NHL Skills competition is complete, it's on to the game itself. The 2023 NHL All-Star Game will take place Saturday at 2 PM CT and ABC and ESPN+ will air the action.
