After previous leaks made it onto the internet in recent weeks, the NHL officially unveiled the Winter Classic looks for the Vegas Golden Knights and Seattle Kraken.

The NHL’s two newest franchises will play at T-Mobile Park in Seattle on Jan. 1 at 3 p.m. ET. It’ll mark the first outdoor games for both franchises, with neither having typical throwbacks to choose from.

Seattle is using a look inspired by the Seattle Metropolitans, the first American team to win the Stanley Cup back in 1917. It has the team’s typical color scheme but with a red “S” with Kraken text inside and a barber pole design that coves the entire jersey. The numbers, both on the uniform and on the helmet, will be red, with similar text on the gloves to match.

For Vegas, the NHL says it “imagines a Vegas hockey team in the look of the city’s early days.” It doesn’t match any previous Vegas jersey, but it has a V on the front with petal accents and decorative chain stitching. The white base features simple gold striping and golden shoulders, with the team electing to stick with its dark grey helmets.

Both jerseys were seen during a livestream posted by the official social media account of All Elite Wrestling over the weekend. It’s unclear if the NHL had anything to do with the promotion.
