Tyler Yaremchuk and Frank Seravalli discussed whether this season is playoffs or bust for the Ottawa Senators on the latest episode of "Daily Faceoff Live."

Tyler Yaremchuk: What’s the bare-minimum expectation for the Ottawa Senators this season? For me, is it not playoffs or bust? Is there really a path to success this year if they don’t make the playoffs?

Frank Seravalli: No, playoffs or bust. I’d say if you’re talking bare minimum, it has to start with not sinking your season by November. Like, you can’t turf things and go 6-12-1 like you did last year. The answer from the team perspective would probably be playing meaningful games in the last week of the year. But if you’re getting that close you gotta get in. So this has been a steady rebuild, the fact that the Sabres were north of the Sens last year, they’ve got their work cut out because its a very crowded division.
