Rookie Brendan Brisson capped Vegas' three-goal, third-period outburst with his first NHL goal as the Golden Knights rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Brisson, playing in just his third NHL game, snapped a wrist shot from the high slot past the blocker side of Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry for the game-winner.

Jonathan Marchessault scored for the third straight game, Ivan Barbashev had two assists and Pavel Dorofeyev also scored for Vegas, which won its third straight game. Logan Thompson stopped 23 of 25 shots.

Ryan Graves and Jake Guentzel scored goals for Pittsburgh, which had a four-game point streak (2-0-2) snapped. Jarry finished with 26 saves for the Penguins.

Pittsburgh took a 1-0 lead at the 9:02 mark of the second period when Graves scored on just the ninth shot of the game by the Penguins. Graves was left alone at the top of the left circle, skated in and fired a shot from below the goal line that banked in off the back of Thompson's left leg for his third goal of the season.

Guentzel made it 2-0 nearly five minutes later when he took a Sidney Crosby pass at the top of the left circle and roofed a snap shot past Thompson's glove side. It marked the seventh time in his career that Guentzel recorded 20 goals in a season for the Penguins.

Vegas rallied to tie things at 2 early in the third period with two goals in a span of 94 seconds. Marchessault got the first when he flipped in a rebound of a Barbashev shot from in front of the crease for his 20th goal of the campaign. Dorofeyev followed by converting a Chandler Stephenson pass into the low slot for his sixth goal, which came at 6:52.

Brisson, the son of longtime NHL agent Pat Brisson, whose clients include Crosby, scored the game-winner at the 9:40 mark.
