Another week has passed and it’s time for our LA Kings weekly prospect update. This week’s update was highlighted by two players. Those two players were Samuel Fagemo and Jared Wright . Samuel Fagemo scored two goals during the week for the Ontario Reign to give him 41 on the year to set the Reign’s AHL franchise record for goals in a season. He surpassed Martin Frk, who previously held the record with 40 goals in the 2021-22 season.

Wright, the sixth-round draft pick in 2022 by the Kings, helped the number-three ranked Denver Pioneers (NCAA) secure their 10th national title by defeating the number-one ranked Boston College Eagles by a score of 2-0. Wright scored the opening goal at 9:42 of the second period which would stand as the game-winning goal. The Kings now have a national champion in the pipeline. Congratulations, Jared!
