Easton Cowan continues to make history with the OHL's London Knights.

The 18-year-old continued his point streak on Friday with two assists in London's 6-3 win over the Soo Greyhounds. His point streak is now at 33 games.

With two points on Friday, Cowan ties Dave Gilmore, who had a 33-game point streak during the 1993-94 season, for the longest streak in Knights history. Cowan is second in Knights scoring this season with 32 goals and 58 assists in 51 games, only behind Denver Barkey.

He's also currently tied for sixth in the OHL with points this year.

Cowan was selected by the Maple Leafs in the first round (28th overall) of the 2023 NHL draft. Toronto then signed him to an entry-level deal on Aug. 10 that carries an annual average value of $935,833.

Cowan made a strong impression at the Traverse City Prospects Tournament, and in Maple Leafs training camp. He impressed so much that the organization kept him around until the day before their season opener on Oct. 10.

"Probably the biggest thing for me with Easton is we knew he was a hound on the puck, we knew he had a great motor. The skill level is better than what I had thought," Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving said the day Cowan was sent back to OHL London.

"We got a real good player on the come [up]."
