Without Jayson Tatum and on the brink of elimination at the hands of the New York Knicks, the Boston Celtics needed to lean on their championship pedigree just to keep their season alive in Game 5.
And they did. While Tatum is clearly one of the irreplaceable players in the NBA, the Celtics did their best to make up for his absence by committee – led by Jaylen Brown, Derrick White and Jrue Holliday. While Brown and White carried the scoring load with 26 and 34 points respectively, Holiday was an efficient 5-for-8 from the floor and 2-for-3 from deep while adding seven rebounds and three assists for a +/- of 23 in the 127-102 victory.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. With the hole the Celtics are in, they're going to need Holiday to perform closer to his career playoff averages of 16.1 points and 6.2 assists-per-game. With that being said, how many of the active players with the most assists in the NBA postseason can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
