2016: Joel Quenneville Notches Milestone Win
On January 14, 2016, Joel Quenneville became the second-winningest coach in NHL history by recording his 783rd victory.
It was a low-scoring affair when the Blackhawks visited the Montreal Canadiens at the Belle Centre. Jonathan Toews struck first with a tally 8:26 into the game. Paul Byron got Montreal on the board a couple of minutes later, but Ryan Garbutt responded to put the Blackhawks ahead 2-1, which held up as the final score.
Corey Crawford made 39 saves to backstop Chicago's victory, which put Quenneville ahead of Al Arbour in the NHL record books.

Nick Boynton , a 2010 Stanley Cup champion with the Blackhawks, was born on January 14, 1979. Boynton joined the Blackhawks in a trade with the Anaheim Ducks during the 2009-10 season.
