My player to watch for the St. Louis Blues against the Colorado Avalanche on Friday is defenseman Colton Parayko.

Who else will be on the ice when Nathan MacKinnon is on the ice other that Parayko?

He will be saddled with the task of trying to put the clamps on MacKinnon and his NHL-high 19-game point streak in which he has 36 points (13 goals, 23 assists).

In fact, MacKinnon, who has three assists in two games against the Blues this season already, is more than a point-per-game player (49 points; 17 goals, 32 assists) in his regular-season career against the Blues (44 games) and if someone will put a halt to that tonight, you can bet Parayko will be on the ice shadowing the Avs center.
