My St. Louis Blues player to watch against the Calgary Flames on Tuesday is captain Brayden Schenn.

It's no secret that it's been a challenging season for the first-year captain. Perhaps the added responsibilities of wearing the 'C' has added pressure to produce more.

Schenn went through his longest drought both points-wise and goal-scoring wise earlier this season, but he has six points (two goals, four assists) in his past six games, including a goal in a 3-0 win against the Washington Capitals on Saturday.

Schenn also has 23 points (seven goals, 16 assists) in 26 career games against the Calgary Flames, but he's only scored once in 12 games against Jacob Markstrom, tonight's starter for the Flames.

It's an extremely important game for the Blues, and production from Schenn's line, which includes Brandon Saad and Jake Neighbours, will need to bring it, and the Blues (22-20-2) hope Schenn can continue his recent uptick.
