Ottawa Senators defenseman Artem Zub will be sidelined 1-2 weeks due to an upper-body injury sustained during Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild.

Zub, 27, has a goal and two assists in seven games this season. He leads the team with 27 hits.

In 135 games over the past three seasons, all with the Senators, Zub has 39 career points (10 goals, 29 assists) and 90 penalty minutes.

Ottawa coach D.J. Smith told reporters he was informed of Zub's injury following Thursday's loss, which snapped a four-game winning streak.
