Ryan O’Reilly of the St. Louis Blues did perhaps the most hockey thing ever during this year’s ESPY Award’s ceremony.

The Blues took home the award for Best Comeback for going from the worst team in the NHL at one point during the season to winning the Stanley Cup.

Among those to take the stage to accept the award was O’Reilly, who took a moment to remove his tooth before continuing to speak.

Hockey players are no strangers to losing teeth on the ice, but this may be the first time we have seen one voluntarily remove one during an awards show.
