Tony Hawk turned 55 this year, and despite years of skateboarding, he is still getting major air on world-class vert ramps, and smiling ear to ear while doing it. A few days back, on Febuary 3rd, Tony shared to his Instagram page a throwback picture of him at the Oasis Halfpipe, with a pretty informative caption, check it out below!

Tony shared: “Oasis was directly under the freeway overpass that leads 805 south to 8 east. People used to throw bottles at us as they drove by, leaving glass shards in the bottom of the bowls. Wheels and kneepads were no match for such sharp slivers. The park closed not long after this photo was taken.”
