Former World Cup alpine racer and Olympic medalist Lindsey Vonn has recently been spotted skiing with superstar Ashley Graham, inventing silly games on the slopes with snowboarder Shaun White, and, like here, still enjoying a solo run through a race course.

This time, at night. Redbull Canada posted the footage of Vonn speeding through the Streif (in Austria) in the dark, joking that "if you thought doing this in daylight was tough..."

Kitzbuhel doesn't need the dark to be scary. As part of the Hahnenkamm weekend, skiers race down a 3,000m course at speeds of up to 120km/h and at a g-forces of up to 3.1.

So when racers crash, results can be extremely catastrophic.

All of the courses at Kitzbuhel have seen plenty of carnage in the daytime with racers such as Aksel Lund Svindal, Todd Brooker, and Brian Stemmle exploding during their runs there, to name a few exceptionally rough falls.

Canadian skier Todd Brooker was racing down Hahnenkamm Mountain, in Kitzbuhel, Austria, in 1987 when he lost a ski and crashed. The 1983 Kitzbühel winner suffered a concussion, a broken nose, facial injuries, and a knee injury. He ended his career at the end of the season.

The Streif is the downhill course at Mount Hahnenkamm, and it was first raced in 1937.

Lindsey Vonn's effortless speed and flow will almost convince you skiing this course is worth a shot of your own. But, as crashes here can be season ending, we'll leave it to Vonn to make this look easy at night.
